    Sunday Service - 22 May 2022

    LIVE SERVICE

    RESURRECTION POWER: Reconciliation is Possible

The whole purpose of our salvation, of being saved from sin and death, is to be reconciled with God. We were alienated from him because of sin, but through Jesus’ death and resurrection we can now come near again into the presence of his holiness. After all, reconciliation is about restoring broken relationships. The plan of God through the cross is to restore us to that closeness that Adam and Eve experienced with him in the Garden of Eden - when God walked with them in the cool of the day. The Creator is reconciling a fallen creation to himself - “all things”, as Paul writes in Colossians 1, “whether things on earth or things in heaven”.

Since reconciliation with God is possible now, by the power of Christ’s resurrection at work in and through us who believe - what should this look like in our world today, as broken as it is? If I am reconciled to God, how would this affect the “all things” that my life touches? In what way could I see a kind of return to Eden in my household, my place of work or school, and other areas of influence in my community, my country, and the world I live in?

Join us this Sunday as we explore the very real and beautiful implications of a reconciliation with God made possible through the resurrection of Jesus.

    Sunday Service - 15 May 2022

    LIVE SERVICE

Our Christian walk involves conflict with a very real enemy. Through the weakness of the cross and the power of the resurrection, Christ followers have authority and victory over Satan and his kingdom.

Read this week’s Bible passage: Ephesians 6:10-18 [NIV]
