    Sunday Service - 31 October 2021

In Part 3 of our Ephesians series Paul writes about God's grace which transforms us from death to life. We were dead to God in our sins, but because of His loving kindness alone - expressed for us in Jesus' death and resurrection - we are made alive with Him by faith. The answer to the question: "What can I do to achieve my salvation?" is this: "Nothing". There is nothing you can do to achieve salvation. Jesus Christ achieved it for us. All that's left for us is to receive this grace by faith.

Ephesians verse-by-verse, challenges believers to live out the gospel. If the people of our city, of our school, of our family, are going to hear the gospel - it's going to be from our mouth. Encounter Ephesians and get swept up into the story of Jesus.

Read this week’s Bible passage: Ephesians 2:1-10 [NIV]

We're looking forward to gathering together this Sunday at our 10 AM Worship Service where we'll hear Part 3 of our Ephesians - Verse by Verse sermon series. We are already fully booked for this Sunday - in order to comply with Level 1 Covid restrictions we may not exceed 50% of our building's capacity. Sincerest apologies if you were unable to obtain a booking - you will be able to catch up on the sermon online next week - or listen to it on our podcast (available in most podcast players or on the Sermons page of our website).

We've decided to keep pressing into our goal of being a church of disciples who make disciples, so we're continue to make use of our 8 AM timeslot up until 12 December for discussion, learning, and prayer (if you are interested, please feel free to join us). Session 6 is happening this Sunday and will be repeated next week, CLICK HERE to book your tickets.

    ONLINE SERVICE

If you're unable to meet in person, you are welcome to join our online service, premiering on Sunday at 9 AM (CAT). Watch it here on YouTube or Facebook<-- Click on the links to tune in for the premiere.

We’re changing the format of our online services. It’s difficult to engage in sung worship when you’re watching from your living room TV or on your mobile device. We get it. Our analytics have shown us that those of you who are connecting with us online are finding value in the teaching component, and so we want to focus on providing you with that. Our pastors deliver their best when they’re preaching in front of a live audience, so from now on we’ll be showing you the sermons preached on the previous Sunday. This means that if you joined us online last week, you’ll be getting the same sermon today, but preached from a different perspective and therefore still worth watching...

In Part 2 of our Ephesians series we encounter one of Paul, the apostle’s, powerful prayers for his readers (there are a few of these gems scattered throughout the New Testament of the Bible in some of his other letters to the various churches). They are an excellent example of how and what to pray for ourselves and others - and this one in particular, when we are in need of power.

What does Paul’s prayer show us: Yes we might need our circumstances changed, but what we really need is revelation of who God is, and knowledge of HIS power. If we're going to see the world changed, this needs to be our prayer.

Ephesians verse-by-verse, challenges believers to live out the gospel. If the people of our city, of our school, of our family, are going to hear the gospel - it's going to be from our mouth. Encounter Ephesians and get swept up into the story of Jesus.
