These are some of the places we're being called to by the Holy Spirit to serve the lost, the hurting and the vulnerable in Jesus' name. For more info click here or drop a line to missions@proteavalleychurch.org or head to Re:new our NPO through which we serve people in South Africa.

We believe mission starts at home in our cities, schools and streets. Some are sent to the nations but we're all sent by Jesus into our daily lives to share the good news of Him and to bless the world in His name.

Gibson and Agnes Banda are our church planters in Malawi. They have started nearly 20 small churches amongst the unreached people in the South of Malawi. They are passionate about Jesus and seeing him made known to the nations.

There are many under-employed people who are migrant workers in our neighborhood. This ministry offers them a chance to gain some skills, build community and to be part of Jesus' church making a practical difference in the world.

The Educare aims to serve our community in three ways. Firstly, it's a chance to serve our neighbours by providing a safe place for children to learn and play together. Secondly, we see it as an opportunity to share Jesus' love with children who may never hear about Him at home. Thirdly, we have a growing number of sponsored children who would otherwise not be able to go to a good educare, and this is a wonderful way to bless others. Click here for more info

Buffelsrivier is a community in the Northern Cape with whom we've forged a long term connection. We see this as a chance to see how we can work together for the good of the country and for the kingdom that Jesus rules. We take short term teams every few months to build relationships, serve together and to see God's will be done.

For several years we've been taking short-term teams to Jordan to work with Syrian refugees. We've been able to help practically with material needs, as well as to listen to their stories and share the hope that they are not alone in this. We've also connected with partner ministries in Germany and have helped develop young church leaders and assist with strategising to reach the cities where the refugees have now made their new homes.
