This Thursday we celebrate Ascension Day.
Once Jesus had risen from the dead on Easter/Resurrection Sunday, He spent 40 days on the earth, teaching His disciples about the Kingdom of Heaven. After that He ascended into Heaven to take up His throne in eternal glory at the right hand of the Father.
