Memory Verse

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

In this week's lesson we're talking about loneliness. During the Covid-19 lockdown, many people have, at times, felt this way.

Right now, we're in a new phase where some children are returning to school, other not yet or not at all this year. Even if our children are back at school, it's not the same as the last time they were there. As parents, we're also missing the connection with other parents and our children's friends.

Playdates, birthday parties or even just popping in at the school to collect your child are all things that we will not yet be experiencing yet. We are all adapting, changing growing through this time. And we want to encourage your families by reminding you that you are never truly alone - Jesus is always with us. Please share the link with any of your friends who you feel needs some encouragement at this time.

We hope you enjoy this week's online lesson on this topic.

Parent Resource

For some families, there has been a LOT more screen time taking place in the home than there was 4 months ago. With some family's having both parents working from home, much of the extra screen time might be unsupervised.

Plugged In by Focus on the Family is a great way to get entertainment reviews from a Christian perspective. You can also sign up for #FocusAtHome for family-friendly content at no cost.

Have a blessed week!
