Pastor's Note - 17 November 2021

In this week's Pastor's Note, Brent talks about all the things happening in the life of the church over the next while.

THIS SUNDAY:

We'll be hosting the LAST of our Disciple-Making discussion & equipping sessions at 8 AM with the repeat of Session 7.

RSVP - CLICK HERE

We'll continue to hold services at 10 AM only, as we expect our numbers to drop slightly over exam time, but we'll make adjustments to this plan if necessary.

RSVP for the 10 AM service - CLICK HERE

CHRISTMAS DAY SERVICE - ONLINE ONLY:

We know that some are unhappy with the decision to take our Christmas Day service online, but with Level 1 Covid restrictions, we simply wouldn't be able to accommodate the usual numbers we would expect to have at a Christmas service. Also bear this in mind: history and experience has taught us that bringing a non-church goer to a special service once or twice a year is most likely not going to draw them into the life of the church or bring them to faith in Jesus. What will make a difference is if you open your homes and your hearts this Christmas and invite your friend or lonely neighbour to spend the day with you - sharing with them the joy and blessing of knowing Jesus.

CAROLS IN THE COURTYARD:

Sunday, 5 December, 18:30 - 20:30, bring a picnic and join us for fellowship and Christmas Carols. Book your tickets - CLICK HERE

CHURCH STAFF, FULL-TIME POSITIONS:

Communications Manager: to be responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communications in line with the church's vision, mission, and ministries. If you're interested, send an email to sean@proteavalleychurch.org

Next Gen Pastor: to further develop our kids, teens, and young adults ministries. If you're interested, send an email to brent@proteavalleychurch.org

Please join us in prayerfully seeking God's face to find the right people for these roles and for the Lord to grant our leaders discernment and wisdom for the guidance of the church in the season ahead.
