In this week's Pastor's Note, Grant shares a testimony that has brought him much encouragement over the years of the deep love of God for us and His pleasure in our connection with Him.
On a practical note, Grant talks about one of our partner ministries: M.E.S. (Mould. Empower. Serve.) and the wonderful work they do to rehabilitate people from a life on the streets. People in need are drawn to MES and their services by receiving and redeeming their meal or shelter vouchers at the MES premises in Bellville. So when you encounter someone begging at the traffic lights or at your front door, one of the best gifts you can give them is a MES voucher.
We'll be selling these vouchers in booklets of 10 at our Grounded Café on Sunday mornings, which you can buy when ordering your coffee.
1 booklet of 10 meal vouchers = R50
1 booklet of 10 shelter vouchers = R100
