In this week's Pastor's Note, Brent talks about what you can expect in our upcoming services.
This Sunday, 25 July, he and Grant will be dialoguing in answer to some of your questions about God, the Bible, and the Christian life which were sent in over the past week.
Then from the 1st of August we'll be starting a new series following the journey of the early church in the book of Acts. Through persecution and many other difficult circumstances, the disciples of Jesus are scattered far and wide, taking the gospel with them as they go. And so we see the church flourishing in every place where God's people find themselves.
As we're all currently experiencing many difficult circumstances of our own and having to shift the way that we "do" church, our hope is that God will likewise work through these times of uncertainty to actually grow the church, in South Africa, and particularly in Protea Valley.
In line with this, we've decided to press in on making disciples and to press in on being a distributed church - to live in a way that is in contrast to the surrounding hopelessness and draws other people to Jesus.
May the hope and security that you have in Jesus fill you and go with you into every place God puts you as He scatters us across our neighbourhoods and city.
God bless you! We look forward to seeing you online this Sunday at 9 AM.
