In this week's Pastor's Note, Grant informs us that due to the increase of Covid cases in the area, the elders have decided to CLOSE down services in the building, at least until the beginning of August, at which time the situation will be reassessed. Please do join us online on Sunday at 9 AM.
You are encouraged to find creative ways to maintain some form of Christian community, such as meeting in smaller Connect Groups or online, and NOT to participate in broader social gatherings. If you'd like some help getting connected contact lifegroups@proteavalleychurch.org
One important expression of Christian community is serving others. Today we're highlighting two initiatives where you can serve (even while church services are closed):
RE:NEW MARKET DAY
Donate your GOOD QUALITY pre-loved clothes and homeware for the Re:New / New Life Centre Market Day. Call the church office on 021 913 3826 (weekdays from 8 AM - 1 PM) or send an email to info@proteavalleychurch.org to arrange drop-off before Wednesday, 30 June.
FATHER'S HEART
Last Sunday we watched a video about the wonderful work this partner ministry is doing for orphaned and vulnerable children in the Fisantekraal community. If you missed out on that video, you can CLICK HERE to watch it now.
There are a number of practical ways that you can serve others through this organisation. CLICK HERE to view a form with a list of their current needs OR call Sarah Green (082 970 0523) or Liezel Kohler (071 624 9675) for more information.
