In this week's Pastor's Note, Brent gives us some feedback from the recent elder's retreat. We believe an essential part of being Jesus' Church is to make disciples of all nations, so we're going to be focusing our energy and resources into this area over the next while - to learn, equip, and grow into disciple-making that goes far beyond the Sunday gatherings.
This requires intentional community, which is facilitated through smaller midweek groups. If you're aren't yet part of a LifeGroup or ConnectGroup, our pastors and elders are challenging you to take that next step in growing as a disciple of Jesus. Until the end of the year we're going to continue utilising our 8 AM timeslot on Sunday mornings (repeating every 2nd Sunday) to equip leaders who will live out what it means to be a disciple of Jesus who loves Him and shows other people how to do the same.
