In this week's Pastor's Note, Grant reads to us from 2 Corinthians 3:17-18, talking about how spending time with the Lord actually transforms us so that we begin to reflect some of His beauty and glory. One of the ways that we can spend time with the Lord and experience His presence is through worship, which is probably also one of the ways that has suffered most while we've been unable to gather together as a church on Sundays. Don't let this hold you back - you can still worship God with music on your own - we've put together a playlist to help you do just that. But please use whatever music or means helps you best to worship the Lord.
We're continuing with our workshop to equip leaders and discern the way forward for our church in the time ahead. This Sunday, 12 Sept, 9:00-10:30 AM, will be the repeat of Session 2. Please feel free to join us. We have space for 50 people, so please book your spot by CLICKING HERE.
As soon as the President announces a return to Level 2 lockdown we'll be able to open our doors for Sunday worship again at 10 AM (in which case the workshop will move to the 8 AM time slot). But we'll let you know when this happens.
Lastly, our research has shown that serving together with others is the best way for people to feel connected in Protea Valley Church. If you enjoy gardening, we've got the perfect opportunity for you to come along and be a part of the team who will be working together to beautify our gardens. Join our Garden Day happening this Saturday morning, 11 Sept. Email info@proteavalleychurch.org to get involved.
