If you haven't seen last Sunday's sermon you can watch it here.
Welcome (Community)
Which house have you lived in with the best memories, and what made it “the best”?
Worship
Give each person a flower.
Invite them to spend 5 minutes (some soft classical music in background) reflecting on what the flower says about God’s character?
Share with the group.
Have an open time of prayers of adoration.
Word (Discipleship):
Scripture reading: Acts 6:1-7
As we come to the end of our Acts series, what one idea/thought stands out for you?
Do you believe what happened in Acts 8:1 was God’s plan? Why or why not?
Discuss the statement “A gospel flavoured life needs to be scattered, to be sown into the world. We are called out of the world, only to be sent back again”.
To live a life completely committed to God’s agenda, requires each of us to die to self (our safety, control, predictability, comfort, personal bubbles). What part of your life is currently and obstacle to living this way?
What implications does the idea of ‘distributed Church’ have for your Life/Connect group?
Works (Mission)
Each identify one thing (can be very small 😊) you can do this week to sow gospel seed into our neighbourhoods?
