In this week's sermon:
We love instant gratification, but scripture calls us to wait on the Lord. This week, Sunday 1 August, Grant talks about how Jesus’ first followers could not go out into the world representing Him in their own strength. They needed to wait for power from heaven and we too remain empty needing to be filled by heaven’s power.

GROW IN CHRISTLIKENESS THROUGH SERVING OTHERS
Liesl Carstens chats to Maria, from Mercy Aids. This Mandela Day we partnered with Mercy Aids to rebuild a wall behind one of the “safe houses” in the Fisantekraal area. This house is run by Maria, who provides a soup kitchen as well as a homework club and support group for girls. Your financial giving is itself an act of love that helps to continue the good work that these ladies like Maria are doing with the support of Mercy Aids. In the near future we’ll be calling on your support in practical ways as well - there is a real blessing to be experienced in serving others with your time and talents too. In the meantime we ask that you pray for Mercy Aids and the work they do in the community.
