Culture often shapes our view of love, particularly God’s love for us.
We often talk about God the Father’s love for us. However, in a society with fathers who are often disengaged, absent or abusive, it is difficult for us to fully understand God’s love for us.
So it is necessary for us to go to the Bible to understand what His love looks like.
Brent speaks on 1 John 3:1-3 to explain God’s fatherly love, which is unconditional, disciplining, lavish, and never failing!
Brent also talks to Stephen Murray from Hope City Presbyterian Church in Cape Town city centre about what they are experiencing during Covid-19 and what post-pandemic Christians should look like.
