Sunday Service - 2 January 2022

LIVE SERVICE

With the start of a new year, it's a great time to turn our attention to new beginnings. This Sunday we'll be looking at a particular new beginning, in the Book of Philemon - the shortest of Paul's letters in the Bible - unpacking this rich piece of text and, hopefully, stirring our own hearts with new depths of appreciation for the gospel and a new hunger for God's Word.

Our recent celebration of Christ’s advent is less about Christmas lights and more about Light in darkness. Jesus came into a world full of darkness, and in this Sunday’s scripture Paul helps us recognise and address that darkness.

Ephesians verse-by-verse, challenges believers to live out the gospel. If the people of our city, of our school, of our family, are going to hear the gospel - it's going to be from our mouth. Encounter Ephesians and get swept up into the story of Jesus.
