In Part 2 of our Ephesians series we encounter one of Paul, the apostle’s, powerful prayers for his readers (there are a few of these gems scattered throughout the New Testament of the Bible in some of his other letters to the various churches). They are an excellent example of how and what to pray for ourselves and others - and this one in particular, when we are in need of power.
What does Paul’s prayer show us: Yes we might need our circumstances changed, but what we really need is revelation of who God is, and knowledge of HIS power. If we're going to see the world changed, this needs to be our prayer.
Ephesians verse-by-verse, challenges believers to live out the gospel. If the people of our city, of our school, of our family, are going to hear the gospel - it's going to be from our mouth. Encounter Ephesians and get swept up into the story of Jesus.
