The past Sunday marked our return to in-person Youth classes during the 8 AM and 10 AM services. (Now that we're back to meeting together we will no longer be producing video lessons.)
In this week’s lesson, we explored portions of the book of Joshua to see how God used an outcast woman and a strange battle plan to accomplish his perfect purpose. Students discovered that God sometimes works through surprising people and methods, but he’s always trustworthy and will never abandon us.
Some questions to help spark discussion of this week's lesson with your teens:
What did you sense God saying to you when you read the scripture passage?
What stood out to you about Sunday’s lesson?
What commitment did you make at your Midweek Connect group (if attended)?
Questions to take the conversation deeper:
How have you seen God work in unpredictable ways in your life or in our family?
If we trusted God the way Rahab and Joshua did, how might our lives be different?
Who do we know who’s overlooked or rejected, and how can we love that person the way Jesus does?
