At Protea Valley Church, we believe in the transformative power of God's Word and the importance of engaging with the world in a way that reflects the teachings of Jesus. In late July 2023, we had the privilege of hosting a mid-week teaching event that aimed to provide wisdom in a world filled with confusion.

 

The two insightful evenings, hosted by Brent Russell, delved deep into the theme of Jesus, Gender and Sex. We explored how God intended us to live and how the world has evolved to its current state. In these sessions, we carefully and graciously unpacked ideas surrounding truth, gender, and sex, with the intention of equipping our community to navigate the often bewildering world we live in.

 

Biblical Perspective on Gender, Sex, and Sexuality

One of the central aspects of these evenings was to provide a Biblical perspective on the topics of gender, sex, and sexuality. In a world where these issues are often surrounded by confusion and controversy, we sought to shed light on what God's Word has to say.
