Prayer ministry
Helping members grow in faith through a deeper prayer life.
Our Purpose
The Prayer Ministry at PVC exists to help people grow in a deeper, more consistent life of prayer. We believe prayer shapes and strengthens faith—through worship, gratitude, guidance, and confession. We also value the power of intercession, standing together for others, our church, and our city.
What We Offer
Our ministry creates simple, meaningful ways to engage in prayer:

Intercessory Prayer Groups: Three weekly gatherings focused on praying for our church, community, and city, with a desire to see lives drawn to Jesus.
Weekly Intercessory Prayer Meetings: Thursdays: Online (7:30–8:30am)
In-person at The Hub (8:00–9:00am)
Prayer Requests: Share requests via email prayer@proteavalleychurch.org.
We believe in the strength of praying together.

Encouraging Testimonies: Stories of answered prayer that build faith and encourage our community.
Personal Prayer Life Enrichment

We offer opportunities throughout the year to help you grow in your personal prayer journey:

Quiet Mornings: Held two to three times a year at The Hub—unhurried space to reflect, listen, and pray.

Silent Retreat: An annual mid-year retreat (3–5 days) focused on solitude and silence, with daily guidance from a spiritual facilitator.

Prayer Workshops: Twice-yearly interactive sessions at The Hub to help you grow in confidence and depth in prayer.

All Quiet Mornings, Silent Retreats, and Prayer Workshops are advertised on the PVC website and social media.
